Just had a moment to look at Girlzilla's Blog, but I think she's my kinda girl!!! (Especially if she remembers that a 6 year old could buy cigarettes!). What led me to her site was this cartoon - hope she doesn't mind if I share, since it really describes the way my life has been lately... check out her blog!

Stop And Smell The Flowers!!!

My dog, Sadie, has never willingly posed for a picture. If she does happen to be looking at the camera, it's because she's too lazy to move. Otherwise, the exact second you push the button, she turns her head.


So this morning I decided the best way to photograph the spring bouquet my grand-daughter brought me was to set it on the floor. And guess what.... along comes Sadie. I shooed her away several times. Then at the last minute, I shot one without her knowing it, and - lo and behold! - she had decided to stop and smell the flowers. Thank you, Sadie, for reminding me!
